We Offer Minimally Invasive, In-Office Procedures with Lasting Results
If you’re suffering from painful varicose veins or feel self-conscious about spider veins, the team at Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists can quickly diagnose the problem and provide the most comfortable and effective treatment options available. We begin by using Doppler Duplex Ultrasound Imaging in our state-of-the-art vascular lab to determine whether there is a superficial or deeper vein problem. The results will help identify the best treatment option for you.
For varicose veins, we offer:
VenaSeal™ Closure System
We are the #1 Provider of FDA approved VenaSeal
VenaSeal™ is the latest minimally invasive treatment available for patients suffering from vein disease. It is the first vein treatment of its kind that treats varicose veins of the legs by sealing the affected veins using a medical adhesive.
ClosureFast™ Closure System
ClosureFast™delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy directly into the affected vein using a very narrow catheter, which is inserted via a tiny incision. Treatment is done using local anesthetic so you are comfortable throughout your procedure. Most patients return to regular activities the same day or the day after treatment.
Sclerotherapy
A sclerotherapy treatment eliminates spider and smaller varicose veins. A sclerosing solution known as Asclera is injected into affected veins using a very fine needle, which causes the vein to seal closed.
Phlebectomy Vein Removal
The phlebectomy procedure, also known as stab phlebectomy or microphlebectomy, is an outpatient procedure that requires almost no downtime afterward. Your physician will remove large veins from the legs in small sections, using tiny incisions too small to require suturing.
Compression Therapy
Leg compression therapy uses snug-fitting socks or stockings to put constant pressure on the legs to improve blood flow. The stockings are made of strong elastic that provides more pressure than typical socks. The stockings are fitted around the foot and ankle with pressure gradually easing up the leg.
