Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists Expands Practice Into Temecula

Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists is pleased to announce the opening of a new venous insufficiency and varicose vein treatment clinic in Temecula to serve the residents of Temecula and surrounding areas, led by Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon Dr. Nina Grewal.

The new, 3,700 square foot clinic facility features four exam rooms, two ultrasound rooms, and two procedure rooms with staff dedicated to the latest technology in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins and related issues.

“We expanded our Desert Vein and Vascular Institute practice in the Coachella Valley with the opening of Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists in Riverside three years ago. Being the leader in minimally invasive treatments of venous insufficiency and varicose veins, we have seen an increase in the need for our services and are excited to be able to assist patients in Temecula and the surrounding area,” said Dr. Pushpinder Sivia, FACS, Founding Partner of Desert Vein & Vascular Institute and Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists.

Heading the Temecula office is Dr. Grewal, who joined Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists in 2017. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and her M.D. from the University of Utah in General and Vascular Surgery. She has been practicing for over 10 years with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of venous disease, having performed over a thousand venous procedures.

Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists physicians have performed more of the revolutionary VenaSeal™ treatment for varicose veins than any vein practice in the U.S.A. VenaSeal™ is the first-ever vein procedure to use a specially designed medical adhesive to seal off varicose veins of the legs and has quick results, little to no downtime required, no need for compression garments after treatment, and both legs can be treated at the same time, among many other benefits.

Additionally, the Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists Temecula location will offer the following treatments: The ClosureFast™ Procedure, a radiofrequency ablation treatment for varicose veins, Ambulatory Phlebectomy for the removal of treated varicose veins, and Sclerotherapy to treat spider veins.

Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists offers complimentary vein screenings Monday through Friday. An appointment is required for the pain-free, non-invasive screening, which takes about 30 minutes and is conducted by a Registered Vascular Technologist. According to Dr. Grewal, an ultrasound of the legs is the most accurate way to detect vein disease, which is the root cause of varicose veins. “We invite anyone who may be suffering from pain associated with varicose or spider veins to schedule a free vein screening and check out our beautiful new offices,” said Dr. Grewal.

Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists accepts most insurance for treatments including most PPOs, some HMOs, IEHP, and Medicare, among others. Please inquire about all insurance accepted. Self-referred patients who prefer to pay directly and physician referred patients with insurance are welcome.
